Tony Bowes – Founder, AI.nstein Consulting
Hello, I’m Tony Bowes, a passionate technologist whose IT journey began back in the 80’s with an Amstrad CPC 464, coding in Basic and Assembler. This early fascination with computing led me to a university education, including post-graduate research into Artificial Intelligence where I modelled the Hippocampus with an emerging technique called “Neural Networks”. My academic pursuits laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career across the IT sector, from programming, to consulting, to Systems Administration, to IT Management. I have also supported a diverse set of industries from Plumbing to Surgeons, from Startups to Education and Community Care.
My professional journey is complemented by a deep-seated commitment to education. I spent two enriching years as a secondary school teacher, where I imparted my knowledge and enthusiasm for technology to the next generation. This experience solidified my belief in the transformative power of learning and the importance of nurturing intellectual curiosity. Outside the classroom, my passion for technology extends to the world of competitive gaming. I’ve been actively involved in hosting tournaments and was a key figure in the Australian gaming community, culminating in my role as international Head Referee at the World Cyber Games grand finals.
Recently, my focus has returned to the realm of Artificial Intelligence, a field I’ve been passionate about since my postgraduate days. I founded AI.nstein Consulting, a venture dedicated to offering AI insights and practical AI solutions to businesses primarily in the Bundaberg region. My mission is to demystify AI, making it an accessible and powerful tool for businesses to leverage for growth and innovation.
